How do I start a band when you don't know anyone and your young?

Hey guys I figured I would put this out there because one day I want to start a band. And I figured I would ask you guys you are always helpful. Thanks in advance

I use joinmyband.com but I think that’s a UK website so depending somewhere you are from there might be different websites.
I put an advert out on there for local musicians and find like minded people to jam with that way.
You never no their might be people on this forum who are local to you.

If your still in school,just look for a drummer or someone who likes your genre of music in your school. I lucked out and found a drummer that likes a lot of the same music as me right in my own high school. You may not find anyone at a school but its possible theres someone out there that would like to jam in your own community. Then try the sites like Richard said if you can’t find anyone locally I guess
