How Is Everyone Doing This Sunday/Monday?

Hey fellow Synners!!
I’m having such a great day today. And I thought “Why not just check on my fellow students and see how they’re doing?” This doesn’t need to be musically related. But since I follow some of you on Instagram/Facebook and I see some things you all are working on (Like Ed’s 50 billion mile bike ride and apparently Josh is working on a movie of some sort?) I just thought it would be cool to see how EVERYONE is doing.
Some of you have sent me some things to look over and give some feedback on and let me just tell you this: I get SO honored every time someone asks me that.
For those of you who joined my live stream the other day, thank you It was sure fun going live with all of you and watching you play! Besides, wasn’t it a blast having Hector show up and teach us those really awesome things? Don’t worry, I’ll make SURE he uses them as the next #TeachingSyn video
I just hope you all are well and doing good. I went for a long walk and it’s SO beautiful out. Nothing like going on a four mile stroll through the beautiful fall countryside. This upcoming week is my real estate test so I’m spending all afternoon studying. I just wanted to wish you all lots of love and peace throughout this week if you’re having a rough time, and just to send good vibes. Know I love you all and wish you all the best week ever

I went and caught Pokemon for 3 hours(I do have a shiny Metagross now in case anyone’s wondering). After that I worked on my Mike Meyers song thingy for Halloween and since I can get pretty fucked up with my songwriting the end is pretty fucked up. I played guitar for a bit, watched F1 and baked a cake that actually fits my diet.
I do honestly love those live things you and Ed were doing. I’m always eager to learn something new or something I haven’t really thought about yet!
Ooh I also tried to figure out how to go live on YouTube today

OMG Ids you play Pokemon go? Is that what you’re talking about? I tried that but I got so confused that I ran out of balls in about 1 hour and I didn’t know you had to buy more haha!
I really can’t wait to see everyone’s submissions for the Mike Meyers thing! It sounds exciting! What kind of cake did you bake? You seem so much like a scholarly kid I can’t imagine you bake, lol!

My weekend has just been utter shit. We lost the biggest game of our season, the homecoming game. Our homecoming dance went to shit cuz someone poisoned the drinks there with Vodka and liquid TCH, sending atleast 15 people to the Intensive care unit of the hospital, including my brother and his girlfriend, one person was throwing up blood. And today nothing has really been happening so. Maybe today will be good who knows

So far, great day, Jak! Body recovering from the ride, and I finally got to talk to my folks (the make retirement so BUSY! 76 and 80 years old, and they’ve been out every weekend in October until today!). Just a chill day at home getting rested up for the week ahead! Hope everyone’s kicks ass!
Ids, let me know if you have questions about YouTube live. Once you turn it on in your account, you need to wait a little over 24 hours before it’s actually ready to use, FYI. On my computer, I used the free and excellent OBS Studio so I could stream a combination of sources (the live camera, and my screen, and the audio feed from the AxeFX, plus the in-room microphone). Let me know if I can help. My son is on his way to your neck of the woods – he’s part of a joint NATO operation in Norway starting soon. He flew out today.

Ooh yes I do. I’m like lv. 35 or so. Getting new pokeballs is usually just spinning pokestops.
The cake is pretty simply it’s a dough made out of egged and bananas. Adding some pumpkin seeds and some other stuff of which I don’t know the translation. It’s basically a chocolate cocos cake(even though I just realized I forgot to add the cocos). I’m mostly baking a cake because it’s tasty and it fits my diet. I usually never buy cakes. I do like cooking though(Asian, Italian especially).
Yeah testing should be fun. Have to think about when we can do that though
Ed-I kinda want to do a Q&A thing so don’t think I need a lot of different acreens to show but I’ll think about it. Maybe it comes in handy at certain questions.

This past week I’ve been recording the video for the halloween theme song and today I finally finished editing it. I always like to make a video when I make a song and I’m super happy how it turned out. This video put my editing skills to the test but I managed to do it. Can’t wait to share it here .

I have been with the worst pain in the back I have ever had. And also I had to study for a physics test that I have tomorrow night.
It has not been a very funny weekend, haha.
But I believe that this week it will get better. I hope to practice a lot of guitar.
Also, I plan on recording some covers and improvisations using new licks and techniques.
Very nice to interact with you guys beyond the school!!

SO and I went book shopping all afternoon. Best way to relax during hell month at job #1. Job #2 is heading into busy season, job #3 is winding down and waiting on an interview for a fourth.
No guitar right now…can’t afford to fix a broken string but hoping to get ahead soon and get back playing .

The last days were pretty shitty actually after my girfriend broke up. Also a blister on my finger prevents me from proper Finger Picking which drives me mad. It’s monday morning now and I got to work later. Let’s see how this day turns out…

I’m about to get ready for a tiring day at uni. This week was extremely fun in terms of the school though. I got to watch everyone’s TeachingSyn videos and I learned so much! Plus there was Ed’s and your livestream which were absolutely great. I’ve been trying to learn the harmonic minor scale for a while (I haven’t actually learned it over the whole 24 frets) and I tried to practice more alternate picking exercises. These should carry on to this week as well. Hope you guys have a great week!

sorry my response is late! Its going well, I wasn’t able to go to school yesterday, but I made it today, I have been doing finger exercises and actually warming up the past couple days and I’m already seeing great improvement! I really gotta work on my pinky though, trying to get the Rats solo down by ghost, Best of luck with the test!
