Hello, my kittens

It's been so long since I gave you all some real attention (not just things like announcements and polls).
I just wanted to let you know that even though it's 2am here, I was thinking about you all.

I've gotten so busy that now I don't even have time to truly delve into the community here anymore, but I see so many new students and achievements going on and I love it.

So.... tell me. What have you all been up to? It can be guitar-related or just about life!

Currently living with parents until I get my new apartment on 1.9 moving with my partner
Can't wait for it, I will have my own guitars room, like Ed

Other than that, life is going, COVID shit is still here. Finding time to play guitar, video games.
Luckly I work from home, not everyone in Israel can, so I'm doing fine.

Everything is standstill, so tons of binge watching youtube videos. found lots of tutorials on mixing and mastering so could not be better. And one thing I learnt, youtube suggests such diverse random videos during this pandemic holy shit. My subscription list almost doubled in last few months XD

Having way less time and Energy for guitar since the start of my apprenticeship in August. But I am at writing my own stuff right now. Continued to write that Riff you saw Into a whole Song.

Other than that I have exciting Things Planed for my leatherwork. I might soon have a dedicated Work space for that and hope to do some more diverse stuff than Just armguards. Do you maybe know somebody who's writing a Fantasy Book and could use Real Life props for it?

As for myself, I've been practicing guitar a little bit here and there but also surviving this frickin heat wave, god how I wish for fall/winter haha.

Finished my first week back in my dorm and we haven't been kicked out yet like a bunch of other universities around me which is nice. Been finding it kind of difficult to get motivated to pick up the guitar recently though. I'm still practicing, but at times it feels less like me doing something I enjoy and more like a chore.

Been studying musical marketing the whole of last week and just got some ideas which I cannot wait to finally put into practice. Working on re-re-reworking my website so that it focuses on music with music courses taking more of a side-role since at the very core I want people to know that I make music rather than courses.

I also need to finish the courses website v3 along with the admin one so yeah...fun times. Maybe I can get around to finish them sooner rather than later so that I can FINALLY have my presentation done so I can get back to actually creating content .

Doing a lot of stuff in house (new garden and new bathroom), and working. I am not here as much as I used to be, since i have guitar lessons again, im focussing on that and practising my homework. I am rly happy that I took lessons, it is motivating me and giving me a focus on what to learn. Before i was surfing all over internet to find stuff

We’re dealing with a lot of crazy fires here in Cali. We have two huge ones near me so we’re all standing by in case we get the evac notice. Definitely been a tense week but hopefully this week they get some control over them. I’ve been practicing to keep my mind off of it but the anxiety form it all makes those sessions difficult to focus on. 2020 needs to chill lol

Trying to recover from an event that happened a month ago which really put me down. But I am doing well I guess considering.
I still practice guitar everyday though Im trying to get back the focus so I can dwelve into the lessons and theory back again (which is why i havent posted any videos in a while now). But im still getting better so there is that! Trying to survive, 2020 has been a horrible year so far

Trying to keep guitar practice, household chores and mothering balanced...(household is usually the loser here ).
And at the edge of a nervous breakdown because the new school year is around the corner and we still don't know clearly how the COVID shit is gonna be dealt with at school to keep our kids safe. Need school reopening though, because my back is wrecked from jumping with my son on the trampoline...a good piece of advice here for the younger ones: NEVER use trampolines after 45 !!!

Masks are the only answer. I work in a crowded building with thousands of employees. What we learned when we got hit by corona is that simple face masks are VERY powerful at slowing/stopping the spread of the disease. It's uncomfortable for a while but whatever.
