How to find people to jam with when you don't know anyone?

Find any form of music related event around you (preferably in the style you play) and just start talking to people who look like they play. Being a drummer I’m sure you can find plenty of people that would love to jam, because drummers tend to be the hardest to find. You can also try looking around online or posting ads to find people to meet up with.

I’m hoping to meet like minded musicians on here as well. I’m also gonna travel around the U.S. this year and see where some good music scenes are and see where would be a good spot to get my footing.

They are out there you just gotta find them!LOL I live in a town of only freaking 10,000 people and i found 4 people that played different instruments and now I got a band going on! You just gotta look around. They are out there I promise.
