I Give Up Trying to get this tone!Help!

I have included my attempt and the original. What the hell is it clean, crunch or distorted I have no idea how to create something close. Do I need Stratocaster, or can I use my coil-split to achieve the tone? I have spent some days just trying to get this tone! It sounds like its clean but sounds thin like an acoustic with the shine of a distorted. Help!

Try the tone you have, but using a tapped neck or neck and middle pickup. Roll the volume down to 6 or 7 and take a little out of the tone knob and see if that helps?

I turned down the reverb and did other adjustments, I think now it only needs more treble or thinness. I find it hard to describe sounds so hard for me.
