Kurt Cobain Guitar Noise

I haven't seen any Nirvana style guitar yet on here but I was wondering if anyone knows how kurt makes those noises on guitar? Like the really scratchy distorted noises in his songs.
Its all over all of his songs but this very beginning of this video is a good example:

Some other easy to find examples are the ending of Aneurysm and beginning of Serve the Servants.

The beginning of the first one is feedback, the beginning of the third one sounds like a "chord" with a lot of close intervals, like if you smash a bunch of keys on a piano.

I guess my question would be how do I make my guitar sound like that? Like how do I get that kind of feedback?

Feedback usually happens at high volumes, with high distortion, or by turning your amp up and facing your guitar at your amp at full volume. Being that its grunge, im pretty sure Kurt always had his volume at 10, high gain, etc so on so forth, there fore he gets feedback! Theres loads of videos on it on youtube, pretty cool thing to toy with!

Okay immediately Breed starts off with feedback. That much is obvious. Then Scentless Apprentice is a tension chord, I believe it's an augmented one? I'm not sure. But I've been asking the same question myself. How do I get the Aneurysm Scream he has in almost every song he's made? How do you get the guitar to squeal like that? There's gotta be a better awnser then just an overdrive and distortion 0edal cause for me neither get that tone. So I don't know mate, but if someone can awnser that then I'd be glad to put that into my style.
