Im just baffled at why syn is promoting it, hes playing a7x songs on his promotional videos so surely must be geared at the a7x fan so it would make sense for the system to come with the presets if he is showing the preset on his promotional videos. If i were to buy it I would be so crap at creating my own presets.

I don’t necessarily think he’s doing it as a “promo,” except that the guys at Fractal are working directly with him to build tones, and using the product in a video like this is a semi-endorsement. Fractal has a place where tones can be posted, including by major artists (Misha from Periphery used to post them like crazy), and then downloaded for free by anyone. That’s the only place Syn’s tones would go. I can guarantee you they won’t ship in the unit – Fractal has never done that.
