I fucking love the crue and mick Mars. Fastest fingers in the west.. for a dude who had a hip replacement hed make it look like a statue was shredding.
One of my all time favorites for sure. The energy they played with was sure to get you hyped. Mick was an animal!!! But syn and sixx could be brothers lol
Mick didnt even know his theory. I imagine he picked up.on it overtime. But he said he just picked it up and played.one reason I was so stubborn learning it myself. But I’d imagine in the 80s it was easier to do that. His tone is so huge. I hear many guitarists with fenders replicating it.
Not crazy on Crue (I’d refer to Dave Mustaine’s comment on glam), but Shout at the Devil is a classic record. Too bad they softened their sound more and more over time.
I do see the Syn – Sixx resemblance though, lol.
