hey guys i want to share a demo of my first recorded song ever, its a song written by me and it’s going to be the first track of a future demo album that im going to do. i dont know much about mixing and that stuff and i maded on my house not on a studio so sound quality isn’t the best but anyways. tell me what you think and if you like it

thanks my friend yeah the drums are midi but without a plugin to make them sound “real” cuz i don’t have neither drums and space to record it haha, i forget to say that there’s a solo but i wrote something far beyond of the stuff i can play atm haha

    I dig this, and like Ids said, the drum volume is a problem. It really impacts how good the track is. Even with MIDI based drums, they should be loud enough to carry the beat. As guitar players, we often think the guitar should be the loudest instrument – it’s not. It’s THIRD. Drums and vocals (where present) need to be louder. In metal, the kick and especially the snare need to cut through everything.
    Guitar sounds killer, and I like the arrangement.
    If you’ve got the means, Superior’s EZDrummer is a great drummer-replacement technology. The sampling and un-quantizing (they call it “humanization”) are excellent.
