New Homework: Lesson 9

Great job everyone on the lesson 8 homework! We all had a lot of fun during the livestream. Unfortunately, I won’t be doing the livestream this weekend because I am just overloaded with stuff to do. Both musically and non-musically.
If anyone wishes to host this weekend’s live stream, let me know and I’ll put in a plug for you.
Here’s the homework for lesson 9: The C Major Scale
Beginners: Find three positions of the C Major scale and play them over the backing track on that lesson
Intermediates: Compose a 20-30 second solo using ONLY the C major scale and use the backing track in lesson 9
Advanced: Compose a 45 second solo using the backing track on lesson 9. The first 10-15 seconds must be a solo from another guitarist that you like but composed to the key of C. The rest of the solo is your own to either compose or improvise over.
Have fun everyone! Looking forward to the submissions!
Jak

The idea is to write the solo. So yeah I think you play the same solo at the stream. I would also like to see in the post what solo you are covering in the video. Maybe a link to the original?
I kind of wanna compare the sounds of the two scales side by side. Do you even think you’ll be able to really tell the difference?
