This is might sound weird, but is your App Store or google play store (whichever you have) set to the US ? I had an issue a couple years ago with an old iPhone I had that gave me the same message for a different app, somehow my country/region had been changed.
double check that and if it’s still giving that error I would reach out to @alexj she’s our badass tech goddess

iPhone
On your device, tap Settings > Your Name > iTunes & App Store.

Tap Country/Region, then tap "Change Country or Region."
Android
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store.
Tap Menu, then Account, and then Country and profiles.
