Pedal volume Loss

Hello everyone! How are you doing ?
I was playing guitar today and I realized that I had some kind of volume loss either using or not using pedals.
I don’t know if this has to do with my power supply, which has a power capacity of 1000 mA.
All my pedals together consume near 700 mA. That is why I am a bit concerned and confused.
I though about the power supply because it has only 5 exits, and I connected an exit extensor, which gives me more 4 power exits. Do you think that could lead to something ?
I checked all the electric exits of the power supply and they are ok.
Thanks again everyone! This forum it is getting better and better! Always helping me with a lot of questions, haha.
Keep rockin’
G.

Volume in the unit decibel is a ratio. In the case of pedals the reference voltage or power is built into the amp and the manufacturer built it in a way that it needs a certain voltage to work. So volume of a pedal without a volume knob simply is in the pedal and does not really have a lot to do with the power supply in any way.

Thanks for the answer!!!
But when I play my guitar the sound seems to fade and come back all the time.
It’s like a phase effect, but with the volume.
Very akward.
I am a bit worried, because my pedals are all brand new.

It may be that your power supply supplies does Ac and not DC. The difference between the two is that AC is not constant and that may explain why it fades away sometimes because the pedal simply does not get any current at that time.
