Pinch harmonics, ampsim vs actual amp

Is it harder to get a good pinch harmonic with an interface using ampsims compared to an actual amp?

Squeels already are my weakness, but I hardly can get a sound out of it. What's your experience?

If you get the technique right it shouldn't be I think and besides, gain is gain right?

Maybe with a real amp you get tiny bits of feedback that help with the squals

I'm done with pinch squeals, enough of that Zakk Wylde crap. I don't think it matters weather its an amp or an amp sim, so long as you have distortion!

With bad pickups it can be hard to do while using amp simulators but otherwise it should be fine. It just takes practice.

If you really get it down, you can do it on an acoustic.
