Played guitar live with Nickelback

I know, maybe some of you are confused, because i mention Nickelback in this forum. I LOVE this band as much as Avenged Sevenfold so please not too much hate.
So last friday i had the chance to play the song Animals with them in Munich, Germany. It’s a simple song, but…. WHAT A GREAT FEELING! I can’t describe it in words. I think i need months to realise that. The stage is the heaven on earth!
Maybe i could bring a little bit fun in your day, this day i won’t forget in my whole life.

How they all start smiling because you are enjoying it so much and rock it!
If it wasn’t for NB I wouldn’t be here. They where my first concert in 2010 actually in Munich,too The first album I bought was All the right reasons I didn’t really listen to music until I was about 13 or 14 years old. NB and 3 Doors Down somehow caught me and I got quite obsessed with a few bands. Now my taste changed a bit and I listen to everything from Sigur Ros to Gojira.
I get why many people don’t like them but most of them only know the hits and probably nothing from The State, Curb or even The Long Road.
By the way Animals is such a fun song. I always felt kind of “wild” singing along to it as a teenager and was glad my mom doesn’t understand English

CONGRATS! Lots of people tease about Nickleback. I have even done it myself – but always in jest. They have some great songs and are an amazing band. I’m so happy for you! Getting to play with those we admire is a rare gift!!!

Thanks a lot for your kind words. I’m still very happy for that chance. This monday i was at the concert of Tremonti in Munich. It was a small building but there were so many people who asked me if i am the guitarist who played last week with Nickelback. I couldn’t imagine that anyone notice me there. That evening was also very nice, because I had the chance to meet the whole band and let them sign my bandshirt.

This is awesome. I played guitar with them aswell at their show in Frankfurt, which was the day after I guess. Probably was the first guy EVER to play a guitar solo in Animals. Was a great night.

I’m Canadian and we have a saying here “there are two kinds of people in the world, the ones who say they like Nickelback, and liars” – as an 11 year old, If everyone cared hit the sweet spot. I still love the song even if Chad is not my favourite person ever. BUT GOOD FOR YOU! YOU WERE FABULOUS. A TRUE ROCK STAR.
