i’ve done it a few times playing gigs drunk to the point where i was reaching for a wah wah pedal that was never there. For me it doesn’t affect my playing, maybe it rids me of any nerves so i can become the player i am when i’m alone and no one is listening or watching. I wouldn’t advise it though. Alcohol treats everyone differently and i’ve seen some awful performances by people who have had one too many. Maybe just be aware of how alcohol affects you personally and DON’T CHUNDER ALL OVER YOUR STRINGS!! lol

Well with sone thing I’miss actually fine. Just shouldn’t try to sweep it play django reinhardt stuff. (I say I’m fine but am not actually sure people just said I was still keeping time and was playing pretty well😅)
Also slash was kind of an alcoholic in the 90s that makes playing while drinking easier.

In my experience it’s just harder to focus on rhythm. Actually the more you drink the harder it is to care about it at all.
But as long as you can stay on rhythm and you can still focus enough to play the right notes, drinking shouldn’t be a problem.
Tho, try not to throw up if you are on stage. A friend did that…
