Scales to play Blues

hi guys i wanted to ask what scales i could use to play to blues backing tracks?

Pentatonic, blues scale and B.B. king box(that's basically the second position of the pentatonic I think). There's also the B.B. king scale over a major chord

I will cover this in the Blues Series we're releasing next week. It depends on how "out" you want to play. But obviously - minor pent, blues scale and Dorian all work well.

no problem jak, i was thinking that there's an option box when you post the thread that says watch this thread or somethin like that , may be if you dond check that box it doesn't show the notifications?

It shouldn't be like that. I think if someone replies by quoting you it works. Or if they tag you. For now, clicking 'alerts' as shown should give you all alerts

Whoo me too I use pentatonic like 90% of the time, and thats the reason why I cant wait to the blues series! Blues is a style that I really want to develop

Phrygian is really interesting when added to the blues.
