Schecter Apocalypse /Sustaniac?

Please forgive me, I’m not a gear guru at all. But Schecter just advertised this BEASTLY gorgeous, viciously sexy guitar and it says it comes with a Sustaniac. Is that a Schecter pickup because I thought that was one of Syn’s signature pickups?

ooooh yeah this guitare is absolutly beautiful ! the wood finition on the body is soo nice but i dont think to put a syn pick on it it’s good ! the original apocalyps pick in red and black is just one of the sexi pick up i ever seen after syn pick up but with the sustainiac she become a absolut beast !

Sustainiac is technically not a pickup, but a technology that can be embedded into a pickup. It’s not a Schecter or Syn technology.

Yeah not a schecter pickup. Syn has been using them since like 2008 or so. The reason his signature guitar with sustainiac was released a lot later was simply because the guy who came up with them had to patent the pickup first. If you Google sustainiac you will find the official website which sells them separately.
