Schecter similar to syns?

Looking to buy a good lead guitar.looking to spend like 500-1000. I currently have an ltd that just seems better for rhythm. Its a set up somewhat like a version of zacky v. Any suggestions? I know a7x uses schecters. Id buy syns guitar but i dont want to jack his style lol

Well if your wanting a syn styled guitar but don’t wanna steal his style you could just get the Schecter avenger. That’s the style that his guitar is (shape of the body). They make standard avenger models that aren’t syn styled.

You could get a Schecter C-1 Frs if you don’t want the body shape of Syns guitar.

There is also the Schecter Revenger.
It’s exactly the same shape but with a carved top, unlike Syn’s, which is a flat top.
Feels almost exactly the same in your hands, (having played both).

I have a Schecter Avenger that I got from Sweetwater a few years ago. Absolutely love it. It’s perfectly balanced and feels great. The differences between my model and the Syn Gates signature is that the neck on mine is a bit thinner and it’s also scarfed, meaning non-glossed. Personal preference piece. And the stock pickups are also different. But the one I got has the Sustainiac and Floyd Rose like the Syn model. Sweetwater unfortunately doesn’t seem to carry the exact model any more, but here’s a “Coming Soon” that seems to be almost the same guitar, except this new one has Schecter pickups and the one I got had a Seymour Duncan in the bridge.

Look for Schecter Avengers. I have a Hellraiser model with the Avenger body style and love it.
