Hey everyone, we have a big change coming to the site and we're really excited about it! The changes are coming on Tuesday, May 18th so expect the site to be down for a bit while we're working on the site. Here's a list of a TON of changes we're making and if you have any questions let us know!
The Big Change
The name of the site is being changed to Synner from Synyster Gates School. This name brings in both the educational part of the community through the school, as well as the lifestyle of learning guitar and the journey towards sharpening your skills.
Because we're changing the name of the site, we're also changing the domain, so please be aware that the domain for the site will now be synner.com, but if you do try to use the old domain, you'll be redirected to the new site so don't worry.

We've made the home page more useful so that it shows more of everything that Synner is offering by making:

This is where the biggest changes are happening. We've developed a system to make it easier to find the content you're looking for through "feeds."

- lessons a more prominent part of the site.
- adding a section for discussions in the community and riffs.
- highlighting the shop where you can find the lifestyle part of Synner.
School
The school is also getting an update!
- Tracks will now be called classes.
- You'll now be able to sort by your incomplete and complete lesson, but you also have the ability to view all lessons at once if you'd like.
- When you view the discussion related to the lesson, you'll see a tab. at the top of the page so that you can easily return to the lesson.
Community
This is where the biggest changes are happening. We've developed a system to make it easier to find the content you're looking for through "feeds."
- Create many types of content through the "create" button at the top of the page.
- Set your favorite feed as your default feed so that it will show up first when you log into the community.
- Select from a large number of filter options to only see the content you want to see.
- A dedicated questions feed to help any and all questions get answered.
- Upvoting! You now have the ability to upvote as well as react to any content that you like.
Media
- We plan to simplify the media categories to make it easier for you all to decide where your riff should be uploaded.
- We also created an overlay for the videos so that both the video and description/comments can be viewed at the same time!
