Hey guys,
I am looking for some songs to play with my band. Can you tell me some songs that not too hard to play. It would be better if you tell rock, metal and blues songs.
AC/DC – Whole Lotta Rosie
CCR-Bad Moon Rising
CCR-Fortunate Son
Beatles-Helter Skelter
Jimi Hendrix-Hey Joe
Metallica-Enter Sandman
Iron Maiden-2 minutes to midnight
Animals-House Of The Rising Sun
RHCP-Dani California
Not sure how good your singer is but these are a few.
Easy-ish songs that come to mind:
Anything from Green Day
Most foo fighters songs (if you ignore all the intricacies with the chords)
Millencolin – No Cigar is fun to play and pretty easy
On the blues side look at Joe Walsh’s version of Rocky Mountain Way. You can have a lot of fun improvising on that one.
A little more technical would be something like Jeff Healey – Confidence Man
Most of the songs from The Offspring are pretty easy on guitar too
Can you narrow it down a little? Like amount of guitars, what’s too hard exactly, songs you play right now and stuff like that? That makes it easier to pick songs that are suitable for you to do
Ok I’ll add some to my previous repky:
CCR-I Put A spell on you
Nirvana-Smells Like Teen spirit
The Kooks-Naive
AC/DC-Highway To hell
The Shadows-Apache(it’s an instrumental but it’s pretty cool)
Iron Maiden-Running Free
UFO-Doctor Doctor
Rainbow-Long Live Rock N Roll
Black Sabbath-Iron Man
Chuck Berry-Johnny B Goode
First off.. who do you even wanna play. Dont pick songs you can play.. pick the ones who want to play. Dont just play a song unless you can feel it while you play. Playing a song for the sake of it cause you can makes for a longer boring show. I’d go for the songs that pump me up.
Let’s start with your influences. Any plans you want to play?
