Rise Against have many songs in E standard: Give It All, Like The Angel etc. Mostly their earlier songs, before they switched to half step down songs. Haven't really checked their newer ones.

Of course, there is always Smoke on the Water .
I think I’ll hold off on smoke on the water for now 😂

I recommend For Whom The Bell Tolls and Enter Sandman by Metallica. Think those where the 2 songs I liked the most learning, Oh and Green Day-American Idiot, very nice to learn and also challenging to get them to play them good. For Whom is fast changing chords, really learned a lot from that one, same as American Idiot, the rhythm was a bit difficult to learn for me (when to upstroke and downstroke). But when you learn it you wont forget :)

You should give "Someday" by Zebrahead a try!! This was my first song I got down on the old electric guitar and it is indeed fun as hell to play!! Also in E standard tuning. It will really get you working on them hammer on pull off and slides!
Thanks! I’m no familiar with this so I’m definitely going to look it up !
