Sunny Disposition Solo 24th fret screeching effect

Hi guys,

anyone have a recommendation of how to get this screeching sound on the 24th fret in the beginning of the solo in sunny disposition?
Is it done with a bend?

I have Syn’s Custom S SGB, but I just can’t reproduce this sound - a hint would be very much appreciated .

He seems to do a high bend. Like he bends it a lot to get a high pitched sound. Like how a whammy bar would work but without the whammy bar if that makes sense. Not sure how many steps the bend goes up by but it's a full-on bend. Hope this helps.

I think it might be a whammy pedal. If not, it's just a slide up to 22 with a full-step bend smoothed right into it.
