Because spring tensions vary, and there are adjustment screws, you can use most setups. The most typical is three springs, arranged at both outside points and the middle. Some (like me) use a little extra tension by moving the screw-side springs to the inner 3 hooks, while leaving the bridge-side at the outsides and middle, so if you’re holding the guitar up and down, with the neck pointing at the ceiling, they look like this:

Then just adjust the screws in or out as needed to level the bridge with your in-tune tension.
