Im just curious to what amp sims he’s using. To me it sounds like the Uberschall sim from that chunky attack, which makes sense because that’s what they used to record and tour with. The Uberschall has a pretty specific attack on the chunks. Hopefully ol’ Syn will drop those presets on us, but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He’s said the Hellwin was designed by the same guy that did the 5150s, and the inside-ish word is that his Axe tone is based around the 5153 Red head.

Ahh, I was getting more the Bogner Twin Jet vibe which I’m pretty sure was what they used on “Nightmare”. I think maybe what I’m hearing now as I listen to the isolated guitar track is just double tracking or maybe the uberschall with an overdrive in front of it, particularly chunky part after the solo where the whole rhythm section is just open D power chords. After playing with the 5153 though I can definitely hear some similarities.
