Synyster Gates School App Being Made?

Anyone else following Syn and see his most recent story?
He mentioned “Gitcam” (GitGuy cam?)
And another frame he said,”Checking out the app.” And he had his guitar with him!!
What do you guys think he has in store?

He did mention some time ago (before touring interfered) that an app was in the works. Long downtime on the site seems to coincide with major changes (last one before yesterday was for the store), so it’s possible they were standing up the backend changes so they could do some front-end testing with the app prior to release.

Do you know if that will help people who live in countries that have restricted internet? There are people who can’t use the site due to government restrictions.

@jak, I do not know, but it seems unlikely that it would make a difference. Apps are still moving data across the internet, and the internet doesn’t really notice or care if, for instance, Facebook is being loaded in a browser or in the Facebook app.

A mobile App would definetly do the school some good. I’m excited.

I am down for putting the app on an iPad. That’s what I exclusively use for the school and an app would take it to the next level.

An app would really help for players who can’t always play at their computer.

An app is so convenient for being active on the forum on the go! I hate accessing the website through my phone and the app would totally be worth it
