This is my idea I have seen some websites have like a chat were users can talk to each other as small group or large group collectively together. Like a live chat. If you dont understand my idea Ill be happy to try explain it a bit more.

I love this idea Andrew! It’s like a forum that we can all chat on with others. But also live chats and video chat options would be awesome too. We would be able to advertise more on lessons and help directly.

@Sayonil Mitra Like its a chat box that is in real time like facebook messenger and everyone on the website can join. so potentially you could have like 20 people in like a group chat kinda thing.

Well we do have a forum here which is pretty much real time as well. In the end something like messenger works the same way as a forum. In a group chat you also have to see it first just like you do on the forum.

Something that I hope to see in the future with this school is it to be made into an app. I think that that would be so awesome for like on the go practice. And have an offline feature to it for the lessons section. @syn what do you think everyone?

I think they were/are developing an app! At least that’s what I heard before the hacker came and screwed everything up.

I just made a couple of channels on different topics. You can’t do livestreams and stuff like that there. We can use this thing for livechatting kinda stuff because it can work really great.

I have a pro/con with this situation. They were working on an app but I think I recall someone saying that Syn said that a messenger feature wasn’t very high on the priority list.
And when I created the Facebook page for the students when the site was down, many people asked for it to be left up. So I did. But then I quickly noticed that the students kept being more active on there than on the school and next thing I knew I was having to relay everything to everyone about school updates because they just went to facebook instead of the school. So I shut it down.
It’s also like how people keep messaging me outside of the school. I’m active on here every single day for almost one hour, three times a day. But for some reason, students take to messaging me on Instagram and Facebook. This site has a messaging option but hardly anyone uses it.
I personally like to see activity here. Every time another platform for communication opens the activity here drops dramatically.
And I know the team feels like shit about the hacking situation and has been working around busy schedules to try to get this school back up to where it was
So as far as the Disqord thing goes, it definitely has pros and cons.

Jak-I definetely get your point! I just made discord for the sake of it but honestly it’s gonna be exactly the same as the forum so it isn’t really that useful TBH. There one guy named Synyster Plates in there though. I wonder who that is
I mean the school has a messaging option too and that kinda works. Also the most effective way to do the whole videothing is maybe make like a Skype group thingie because than the whole video/Livestream thing is pretty much all fixed
I leave the discord up for now but don’t expect that much of it because discord is a good way to discuss gaming stuff for guitar stuff you might as well go to the forum here.
