I wonder what will they do next. Prequelle has its moments, but it's definitely the weakest record so far imo.

I hope he stays true to his promise of being more riff-oriented on the next album.

If I remember correctly he said the next album would be more riff oriented like you said, as well as heavier and darker similar to Meliora but not sound like Meliora. Something along those lines haha I really like Prequelle but I’m a sucker for those sort of poppier moments But Even so, if we could get an album of “Faith” sounding stuff, I’d be one happy boy haha

Definetly, Faith is a fantastic Song! Tobias also Said it would have No (really) fast Songs because they don't Work as Well live

Which is fine, because Ghost were never really a fast band anyway. It's not a trademark of their sound the way it's Avenged's for example.

Ugh, still pissed that I couldn't see them this year. They opened for Metallica in Bucharest, but the bloody tickets sold out in like...20 minutes? Hoping to see them someday.
Metallicas special tickets last pretty long. There was one with early entry and exclusive merch for 200 bucks or something. It's a lot but Metallica first rows? That'd be awesome.
Also they often release new tickets about a week before the concert that weren't available before. That's how I got to see them 2017.

There was nothing on display, trust me. I mean I like Metallica and all, but the main reason I would have gone to that concert would have been Ghost. I got to see Metallica in their somewhat prime back in 2008, so I got that at least .

Now if only someone would book a venue for Avenged Sevenfold around here...

Ghost are a decent band, even if their sound is highly reminiscent of BOC, but they really aren't a band, or if they are it's the Forge band, it's him and a bunch of session guys from album to album, I don't think that was the case with the first few albums but its definitely that way now, plus he still hasn't payed a lot of the former members, which is a shitty thing to do, and they cheated them out of royalties for what they came up with in Ghost. They actually managed to bring the case to court, just know that when you buy a Ghost album that you are giving nothing to the guys who actually played most of the instrumentation on it, which is a shitty thing to do. The guy must have an ego or something, who knows. Anyway, they do have some good songs. I wonder if they will ever become an arena act in the US, mayhap they will, maybe not. Although, I do quite like the band.

Watch this, it's a parody of the whole situation with the lawsuit.

Weirdly enough, this kind of reminds me of a skit MTV might have done in the nineties! Hilarious. It's actually really funny the amount of legal trouble Ghost has gone through, I mean they used to be known as GHOST B.C., so that should tell you something.

I think what you Point Out so negatively is what makes Ghost this great. Normally you need what? 4-10 different Guys to get some decent Songs done. Tobias writes and records EVERYTHING. Where most Bands would Stop He builds Up an Image and an ever continuing Story around it AND performs it live in a phantastic way. And His musicians get surely payed and have fun with what they do or believe me they could Not Put Up a Show Like I saw two days ago.
Also, as far as I know the ghouls are ment to be permanent members but of course when they aren't satisfied with how Things Go they got to go.
