I think what you Point Out so negatively is what makes Ghost this great. Normally you need what? 4-10 different Guys to get some decent Songs done. Tobias writes and records EVERYTHING. Where most Bands would Stop He builds Up an Image and an ever continuing Story around it AND performs it live in a phantastic way. And His musicians get surely payed and have fun with what they do or believe me they could Not Put Up a Show Like I saw two days ago.
Also, as far as I know the ghouls are ment to be permanent members but of course when they aren't satisfied with how Things Go they got to go.
Tobias is a freak of nature. He can do Ghost stuff, indie rock stuff and even death metal. His DM band Repugnant has a cult status in the metal underground. And now with Ghost, he's one of the biggest names in the mainstream side of metal.

His diversity alone speaks volumes of his quality as a songwriter, to be able to create quality music in different realms of sounds is a pretty giant feat.

I dunno tho atleast tell people who's playing the drums for you.. you know what I mean? I mean take pg for example. Just saw a tweet the other day where a guy asked revs credit to pgs one album. He said the rev did it all for him when he couldnt himself. I doubt rev got any like "royalities" officially (I'm sure pg compensated him!) But his name is there atleast. People now its him. Not to say ghost doesn't write his own drums but someone else is playing them. You hear their style in there. Other people may like the playing and want to know more.

I may give the band a little more listens. I honestly never knew the band existed til 6 months ago.

Well, I'm by no means an expert in Ghost, but from what I have heard I believe that their earlier albums were significantly 'better' than the albums they are putting out now, in my opinion. It's great if Forge can write songs, but if it's just him then you don't get much diversion from the norm. Some of the best music recorded is a collaborative experience, if someone doesn't come up with an idea then it is likely that another will. A7X does not have M. Shadows writing all the songs, its a collaborative experience, as is most great music. And you can't agree with guys not getting paid for work, can you?

The former rhythm guitarist of Ghost says that he gets no money from the Ghost albums he played on, despite coming up with most of the riffs.

While I agree he should get paid, I don't know how true is that he wrote most of the riffs. Tobias pretty much wrote the first record all by himself. They started collaborating on 2nd, with the 3rd being the most collaborative one.

I've seen legal documents on Reddit when this thing first came up, and there were credits for each of the songs up to that point. Most of it was Tobias or Tobias and someone else.
