The Stage vs Afterlife

Hi Everyone,
I’m a 13 Year Old who’s been playing guitar for 8 Years. I want to learn a new song but I can’t decide between The Stage and Afterlife. Which one is easier? I can almost play the solo of One and Bat Country just to give you a reference point for my skills.

I prefer the stage because of its many awesome solos but this is also why I would say Afterlife is easier. While I can’t play either of them I could imagine that Afterlife has only “one hard part” which is the solo while even the Intro of The Stage is killing me

The stage full song is more difficult than afterlife full song due to that crazy intro but the stage is also more fun to play IMHO.
Other avenged songs would be shepherd of fire, Hail To The King and planets.

It’s really up to you! Afterlife is gonna be an easier song though haha. I’ve been learning all of Mad Hatter recently. It’s a fun song, and the solo is so cool to play, one of my favorites that Gates has ever laid down along with Fermi Paradox haha so I’d suggest maybe looking that one

@Flyn I agree with James, mad hatter really is a fun song! And the only A7x one I can Play parts of besides buried Alive and Hail to the King.
@Sayonil yeah… Interesting… That solo breaks my Fingers Just listening to it lol

I would go with whichever song is shorter which should be Afterlife. But if you want a more enjoyable song to play I would go for the stage, which has a lot of parts to it.
