Cool! It did seem that the one with the piece of wood's tone dissipated faster.
I've been wanting to try something eventually, I noticed we have the same stringer cutter
Need to gather some more tools, have a plan and get the parts

Definetly solved that debate.

What really does influence your toner is:
Your fingers and how you play!
The pickups
The pickup height
The bridge (the brass saddles sounded darker to me).

So in the end...the body and neck is just there for feel. How it feels to play the instrument.
