Hoobastank's first album was quite good. Then they had a radio hit with The Reason, and ruined every record after chasing the hit ballad again.

Ahhh I’m screaming because this is so true ! A doc I used to work with used to pick on me because they saw a Hoobastank song on my iTunes playlist and I was like.....oh no.... this is old Hoobastank...the good stuff

I personally dislike the hate certain genres get. Music is music. I’d you dig it, cool. If you don’t, that’s cool too. There’s a lot of genre bashing and it sucks.

Totally agree with you. In that regard the Metal Community isn't any better than the Other Genres "real Metal Heads" keep bashing. Luckily I feel that most guitarists are more Open minded towards different music.
