Most of my guitars are in E Standard, though all are set up to easily drop to Drop D. The Les Paul is a hardtail, and the Ibanez have tremsetters that allow for the change in a pinch without altering the pitch of the rest of the strings too much (the tremsetter didn’t work well on the PRS trem, so I installed a tremstopper today, so it has a “backstop” preventing pulling sharp, but allows for pushing flat and divebombing). I use a Digitech Drop pedal to go down to Eb and D, and their respective drop tunings. I’m pretty happy with it altogether.
