Syn I see you take after your Dad with your comedy loooool. One of My favourite outros would be “Sidewinder” who was played syn and his dad. I don’t know if this is an outro but I adore the “I won’t see you tonight” no more breath inside essence left my heart tonight. I love that singing, so powerful.

For me.its probably Save Me, Sidewinder, Fermi Paradox, Lost, And All things will end, Angels and The stage. Weirdly I like the live outro of The stage a little bit more. Weirdly most of them are guitar solos. The whole ‘tonight we all die young’ bit at the end of save me give me goose bumps Everytime and may just be my favourite part of the song!
Are we gonna make this an Instagram thing too like the intros?

hahaha rip that sg standard, but seriously what just happened?. i forgot about the outro on i won’t see you tonight, the first time i heard that song where probably 10 years ago when i was 13 years old and the whole song but especially in the bridge the “so far away i’ve gone…” part and the outro got me goosebumps and when i hear it now i still have the same goosebumps as the first time i’ve ever heard it. i think that’s one the best songs you ever made, you should play it live again it would be great

Gonna go full douche here and say Sidewinder, closely followed by Blinded In Chains. I played acoustic on both. But the outro groove on Blinded is transcendent.

I think Papa’s entitled to some douchery, and of course, he’s not wrong. Sidewinder is probably my #1 (and the mid-section of God Damn, after the solo, works in the same way for me), and the first one I think of. I’d add Save Me, Exist (The Neil deGrasse Tyson spoken-word literally ALWAYS gives me chills, and Brooks’ work on that song is truly amazing), Fermi Paradox, Roman Sky, Higher – hell, it’s like they perfected the art on The Stage album. It really is my favorite work of theirs.
