I wondering if anybody had any suggestions on a good youth electric guitar. My 10 year old is showing high interest in wanting to play but a standard size is too big for her to play comfortably. Anyone have any experience with them?
Ibanez has their Mikro series which is 3/4 or 22.2'' scale. Jackson has their Minion series too which is a 2/3 scale or 22.5'' scale. The Minion series comes in the Dinky shape along with the Rhoads shape while the Mikro as Ed says comes in the RG shape. Heard good things about both. Squier also makes a mini strat model that is decent from what I've heard anyway. Good luck to you and your daughter David!
Yeah, can't go wrong with Ibanez. When I was with my relatives in the US they actually had a pink mikro squier at their house. As silly as it sounds, it actually seemed like an okay instrument to start out on - playability wise.
So this morning I showed her the Squier then I showed her the Ibanez. It was like 2 seconds and she loved the Ibanez look! Lol taught her well! Thanks again!
