One of Syn's really useful tips in Lesson 37 was to commit as much of the Circle of Fifths to memory as possible - something I had put off doing for a while before joining the school. So I decided to memorize it properly and see if I could write a short instrumental cycling through all 12 keys in Lydian - which gives it this weird wonky feel - I put a creative twist in this one and got my foot involved too. Definitely had too much fun making this :D enjoy!

This will be a 3 Part Video series that will teach you how to improvise/write a solo over the Acoustic Section in Sidewinder using:
- 3 Triad Shapes
- 3 Simple Finger Patterns
- 3 Jazz Upgrades
...in under 30 minutes!
This series is suitable for any level of player (Beginner to Advanced) - and you don't need any Music Theory/Fretboard Theory knowledge to check it out - it is more of a guide to get you playing quickly, rather than me going into everything.

So recently, I bit the bullet and got a Line 6 Helix - Here's a test recording/improvisation I did with one of the patches I made
I just love PRS, the thrill of the chase trying to get Royalties from over a year ago is what makes me want to wake up and write tunes for TV in the morning
So yesterday I realised I hit a new teaching milestone - I've now reached 30 students & for the first time in my career & I'm very close to having to turn new students away. Crazy to think during the first lockdown I had only 2 students a week!
