Happy 40th Birthday @[2:@Syn Gates] ! 🥳
I teamed up with my favorite beginners from this site: the amazingly talented @[79761:@Aquamandy] , @[69188:@ari.mac] and @[73823:@redlipsofdeceit] to make a cool beginner-level collab to celebrate this special date 🥰 Couldn't have asked for better people to join me on this mission and I had an absolute blast working with these badass ladies! 💪🏼 This project turned into something bigger as soon as they stepped in with their ideas and of course their talent 👩🏻🎤
We wanted to make something special for this day, and of course very metal 😜🤘🏼 So I made some arrangements and the results turned out far better than I could have imagined!
We want to wish you, Syn, all of the best from the bottom of our hearts! 🖤 Thank you for being one of our greatest inspirations and for providing this amazing community, a really wonderful space for so many talented musicians from all levels! WE LOVE YOU 💜

Yesterday I completed one year on this site, time flies, feels like I landed here yesterday
happy I found these lessons, was able to finish 19 on my first year and I hope I can finish more on this second one 
but I've already learned a lot regardless, so cheers for that 
New year, new strings
Took me a while but today I finally changed the strings on my acoustic for the first time! 
Spent a lot more time than I thought cleaning the guitar 
and the old strings were so rusty compared to the new ones, I'm ashamed 
Still have to change my electric though, maybe next week
Finally finished writing my solo for the contest yesterday
today I'll practice it a little and tomorrow, the worst part: record it 
Been practicing The Unforgiven lately and I'm so happy because I'm actually SEEING my progress on this song
I'm currently on the intro but it looks like I'm getting Kirk's part faster than James', which is good because I'll probably get stuck on the solo in the future
so when I get there, I'll have some more time to learn it but it's also bad because the intro and the chorus are the same and how the hell am I supposed to play James' parts AND sing it? 
Thinking about posting a video soon but my lazy ass never want to take off those pajamas
After 8 days without even touching my guitar because my neck was hurting, I'm back to practicing let's hope I don't need to stop for this reason again 
Just posted my first video singing
I was nervous AS HELL to record it but I'm really impressed with the final results even though is not perfect
Fun fact: I can't sing without doing faces like
, and considering I get too much concentrated on singing and on playing guitar, I guess I won't be correcting this soon
I'm planning to post my final version of Tonight The World Dies this weekend I was supposed to finish this earlier but I had dengue and couldn't practice enough to improve 
I'm really curious to see the final results
Also I've missed a lot of posts here, I'll try to get myself updated later
After a month or so stuck on Lesson 17 I finally completed it! Can't wait to get stuck on Lesson 18 now
My father bought me one of those cheap guitar links and now I'm finally able to plug my guitar into my notebook
now I just need to understand how to use Guitar Rig properly lol but I'm so happy that it works -
