Happy 30th Anniversary to The Black Album! (even though I don't look that happy lol I was focused 🤣) I've been working on The Unforgiven on the last months, since it's one of my 2021 goals, and I never shared a video of my progress, so I figured today would be a great opportunity 😸 I only learned the intro so far, and I'll be learning the verses from now on. I'll keep working on the intro tho to make it cleaner, so please any advice/tips/suggestions are welcome 🙃 specially because I've found like 5 different versions of the tabs with minor variations 😅 so any corrections are very appreciated 🖤
Happy 40th Birthday @[2:@Syn Gates] ! 🥳 I teamed up with my favorite beginners from this site: the amazingly talented @[79761:@Aquamandy] , @[69188:@ari.mac] and @[73823:@redlipsofdeceit] to make a cool beginner-level collab to celebrate this special date 🥰 Couldn't have asked for better people to join me on this mission and I had an absolute blast working with these badass ladies! 💪🏼 This project turned into something bigger as soon as they stepped in with their ideas and of course their talent 👩🏻‍🎤 We wanted to make something special for this day, and of course very metal 😜🤘🏼 So I made some arrangements and the results turned out far better than I could have imagined! We want to wish you, Syn, all of the best from the bottom of our hearts! 🖤 Thank you for being one of our greatest inspirations and for providing this amazing community, a really wonderful space for so many talented musicians from all levels! WE LOVE YOU 💜 Cheers! 🥂
My final version of the acoustic part of Tonight The World Dies, this time with vocals and played on an acoustic! Though it's not really perfect, I'm kinda happy with my final version for the challenge 🥳 and I'll probably keep working on this song to get it better! Tips/corrections/suggestions are very appreciated ☺️ including for vocals, since I'm not a professional 🤣 I just sing because I like to, but never took vocal lessons (even though is something I'm really looking up to in a near future) or searched for professional support of any kind 😬 so if you have some advices, I would really love to hear 🥰
Hello everyone! So for One Month Challenge I've decided to play the acoustic part of Tonight The World Dies and sing, and I've been working on it for the last weeks. It's not finished yet, actually is not even perfect and I'm still working on the Bridge lol For this video I'm not singing yet (I probably will on the next one 😬) and I didn't play the full song. Can't say if the chords and the strumming pattern are 100% accurate, I've looked for tabs and there are a lot of versions for this song, so I didn't rely on only one version 😅 if you guys have any tips/corrections I would love to know 😊 Since we're getting into the last weeks, I've tried to push myself to start playing at the original speed, which is why it has some mistakes (and because I was nervous too 😬). Already know some things I can improve for now, but feel free to add any comments! Goals for the next week(s) are: ★ Get the bridge right at normal speed ★ Improve on chord changes ★ Start singing without getting lost 🤣

SGS Instagram Contest Entry

Hi everyone! I'm Beatriz (you can also call me Bia) and this is my entry for the contest! It's my first video here (hopefully the first of many). I'm a beginner and I'm new to the School, but I'm already loving being a part of this! I am very shy and I was sooo nervous to record this but I did it anyway 😹 So here are some things I would like to point on my video: 1 - Sorry for my English! 2 - Don't mind my grumpy face on some frames (specially when I was playing, I was so focused 😹) 3 - Shoutout to my sister Amanda, she really saved this video of being a complete mess 🙌🏼 4 - I know I talked too much! So here's a quick guide to the most important parts of the video, with timestamps: 00:01 - Introducing myself 00:45 - Lessons I used, why I used it and what I've learned from them 03:15 - The Riff/Song 05:29 - Things I love about the School 06:24 - Music aspirations I loved participating on this! Thanks for this opportunity! P.S: I know the cat totally stole the scene 😹😹
