How many until you start to mess up?

I drink somewhat regularly, but not a lot. As a rule, through my gigging years (which shall return again), only 1-2 beers before showtime - minimum of 1, maximum of 2.

    More testing is needed.

    Instagram video's don't play

Hmm. I don't have the issue, nor am I familiar with anyone else having it (folks tend to complain about stuff like that). Can you give me a little more info? What browser are you using? Is this on a PC/Mac or on your phone? What country are you in? Thanks!

    Top 10 albums of 2020

Cool, you enjoyed the Springsteen record then?

Anyone have an electronic pedalboard ?

Can concur here. The only thing I didn't like about the PODHD was the cabinet modeling, and you wouldn't be using that. Had great effects!

    Annual Care Package

Absolutely. Syn said it would be totally worth the $100 investment, so it's GOT to be a $3500 guitar and all-tube 50 watt amp. RIGHT?

There were a couple bits in there that told me you're getting one of the cornerstones of improv, which is listening to yourself well enough to know when you've got something cool and should repeat it here and there. Coming along nicely. How's that Solar?

Comment by 'Ed Seith' in media 'Syn inspired solo'

Really nice! There are a lot of complex techniques on display here and you feel is great. It is time for you to look inside yourself and realize you are not an intermediate player anymore. While I'm sure there's plenty you can still learn and improve upon, as long as your rhythm chops are good...

That's a nice riff, and five tracks of that? Tight!

    Here am I

Welcome, Klem! Peer pressure from your kids can be something! I've been playing for 35 years and all of a sudden my mother (nearly 79) decided recently she wants to learn to play guitar. I finally got to her! Good luck!

Well, you left out like the MOST IMPORTANT NOTE in the legato run, so I'm sorry Simon, but the whole thing is just pure trash. Better luck next time. :syn-x::rock-hand:

Comment by 'Ed Seith' in media 'My economy riff slowed down'

I like the idea, but your timing is off. This could be a great lick if you spent some time with a metronome and got all of the notes expressing for an even amount of time. Thanks for sharing!

Fair point, I forgot about the parallel stuff!

Fender CEO wants to sign Syn

No reason to quit. You've come a long way already. If you're burnt out, take a few days off - you'll be itching to play again soon!

Fender CEO wants to sign Syn

Fender and Gibson are in a really tough spot, like Porsche was for a long time. The money rolls in from the traditionalists (sadly, people like me but not me, in both cases) who have STRONG opinions about what "their brand" should be, and changing anything significant dilutes the brand and makes...

That's what she said. I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself.

Fender CEO wants to sign Syn

He certainly is more in tune with actual guitar and players and playing than the idiots running Gibson right now. It's refreshing. I almost bought an American Ultra Strat last year when I got the Ernie Ball. Ultimately, Fender still wasn't making guitars with stainless steel frets, and if I've...

    ABBEY ROAD by The Beatles

When I was a kid, and on through my late teens and early 20s, my exposure to the Beatles was almost entirely limited to the single-speaker stereo in my dad's work car or truck, always tuned to the oldies station in New York (WCBS? Funny how I can't remember for sure anymore). So I know a...
