    Figured out the last part, now to learn the part before (I improvised the part before the best I could for now)… Just dawned on me that I am learning this solo backwards 😅.

    Regular slinky works for me on E standard or Dropped D tuning.

    I was having the same issue. The fix for me was tightening the screw that pushes on the little block. It looked well clamped at first, but apparently needed a bit more. Hope this helps!

    I made a bit more progress. I also added more hand shifting, which made playing at around 60% speed a bit easier. Still, I can’t yet imagine how I’ll manage when I get to 100%. 🫠

    I have been neglecting this segment lol. But I will practice it alongside you. One thing I noticed that may help is shifting your pinky during the transition from 13 to 14 to then 15. Then continue that chromatic with that position.

    Seize the day solo was the first A7X solo I learned. It is a nice and easy tempo, plus the bends sounds so satisfying.

    I would probably include the thickness of the string as a factor. I find it harder to deafen the strings with my left hand on my thicker gauged guitars than my regular slinky stringed guitar.
