    I have the same issue; I can only place the pinky on the high E. Now I just came across that I can use the pinky nail side of the pink to bar it... it is very painful. I doubt I have seen anyone try this method... I will try this method for now and see if I can gain some tolerance. :ROFLMAO:

    This is my understanding as well. It’s should be the A shape pentatonic. 5-7, 5-7, 4-7, 4-7, 5-7, 5-7.

    Finally, after several years of wrapping my head around this, and now it all makes sense!

    on bar 28, should the double stops on the D & G strings be from 7 & 7 to 4 & 4 to match the notes from the pentatonic scale? Just curious if I am missing something from the concept. Thanks!
