So I heard today that 5FDP was thinking about launching a guitar school as well…can’t beat this school though

Right on. That’s what it seems to be. Many metal guitarist nowadays seem to be doing that same thing a lot.

Ed’s right! They’re great at copying other people, like Not trying to be a snot but what are they going to teach us besides how to cover other people’s songs? Or… how to have the vocalist in our band talk during the bridge? Or maybe they’ll teach us how to write songs about how we’re constantly mad at everyone, but we don’t care. Right, @EdSeith?

Meh. I’m under and over it.
See what I did there? They are my daughter’s favorite band right now, and I just took her to see them Friday night. Decent show, but they need a better road crew – technical glitches that stopped the show several times, and it’s that way every time we see them.

Really @Ed ? Because I saw them in December in Luxembourg and it really was a great concert. I know they had lots of problems s a band but neither band nor technical problems were seen that night. And they can really hype up a crowd.
As to a guitar school you all are right I guess. It would be nothing but a copy with nothing more to offer. Some guest lessons on this school from other artists would be awesome though!

I’ll be honest I’m not a big fan of 5FDP just because they remind me waaayy to much of slipknot. I know some of you may not understand that cause they are completely different in ways but they just aren’t my favorite band

@dominik, yeah, we’ve seen them 3 times here, and every time there are several tech problems that stop the show until they’re fixed. Last week, they blew the power twice and Ivan smashed at least 2 microphones for problems.
When they’re “on,” they do put on a good, fun show and get everyone going, but I don’t get to see them “on” very often.
