A Message For The Students/June Contest Update

Hello $ynners! Just an update:
There’s many of you who wonderfully follow me on my Instagram and write me messages. We are friends and we always will be. But with this contest I’ve received some messages that basically showed me that no matter who I choose, they believe nepotism is involved and that’s simply not the case. If you want to write me please do it on the school. There are some students who are upset with some things here on the school and as much as I love you all, please make it vocal here. I can’t change the school’s community. I’ve communicated with these students about their concerns and have done the best that I can but from now on if you need me please write me on the school or text me if you have my number.
Also, regarding the contest. I’m stepping down with being the one to choose the winner. When Kfir and Raven helped sponsor the prize, I was floored by how much better and more “COMMUNITY” based this contest felt. So as I was the organizer with the rules, I’ve funded it with some other awesome students and now I’m surrendering this duty to a student here.
So it won’t be me choosing the winner. I’ve already spoken with this student and I chose someone who is VERY neutral, is VERY active on here, and will do a great job picking someone. They’ll announce the winner on the COMMUNITY’s behalf and then I’ll send out the prize funded by myself, Kfir and Raven.
Note: Andrew’s worked really fucking hard on a brilliant version of The Stage solo and hasn’t had any feedback on it. Go give him some love! You can check it out on the forum section.

Will say this now. Jak has given me the beat constructive criticism throughout my time here. Shes honest as honest can be. Shell tell you straight up what she wants. So for someone to even think shed play favourites is flat out stupid.
I already posted my issue and it’s just that people seem to not take other students as serious as jak. And I sure hope who ever jak.picked.. people dont treat that person different for who they choose.

I agree with you 1000000%. It’s time for others to shine so that’s why I’m letting other students be involved in this.

I should say that’s not the only reason why am having other students be involved in this. It is one of the reasons. I just can’t make everyone happy.

I really hope we can push more people to participate in creating contests and other initiatives.
Jak amazing work and it is really nice to see you passing the wand for other student. Im sure he/she will do great!
People should stop with all the negative prespective and just be greatful for this great platform they can be a part of. You should get the respect you deserve Jak, putting all the time and money improving this community… as Calvin said, they are stupid

Honestly Jak I still think you are the best and most neutral person to choose these winners. However, if it quells the voices of the people who don’t seem to think so, I say this is a good way to have every party feel they win.
And if you need help with future contests, by all means, let me know Jak. I can always set aside a few shekels from every paycheck to keep these going if I have to. I’m also fairly active if you need another neutral chooser in the future.
