Hello there Will! I know how you feel. I am currently working on the solo for scream, and there is a lot of chromatic work in there. Finger separation is key and learning finger independence is key. I will be reissuing my chromatic finger exercises soon because a lot of students have been asking for that since it was removed during the hacking incident. A lot of students felt that it helped them. Perhaps it can help you too! Chromatics are actually very tricky.
