Chair Suggestions.

I know this is an off the wall thread. I was seeing what chairs or stools would yall recommend for playing? I have a desk and everything but the little chair I use now is actually my fishing chair and it get uncomfortable after sitting for a while.

I personally use a chair with collapsible arms so that when I'm editing my recordings I have arm rests and when I'm playing I don't have anything in the way. You can generally just buy guitar stools that promote better posture, but I try to go with one that's more practical with recording.

For me, any stool that has the lil foot rest bars works great. Bonus points if it swivels too, there was a brand of one I used in a guitar shop years ago but I can't remember but anyway, that way I can find a comfortable position to rest the guitar on my lap so it's not sloped all weird, and I can make adjustments as needed. Though, even an office style stool on wheels will work, I use one currently and just find a box or something to rest my feet on. Just... Anything without arms, or as mentioned above, a chair with collapsible arms

Like Matt, I too love a good ole swivel barstool. I feel like I have more range of motion and honestly I’m more aware of my posture when I sit on that as opposed to a softer surface.
Im not very tall so this little 30inch stool if perfect imo.

I use a gaming chair. The arms fold up so I can play guitar and then drop them to record, mix, etc.
