Work has been nuts! I havent been able to keep up on my routine in a couple weeks, but i played today for the first time and i didnt miss a beat! Before i took my unwanted break i was feeling like i was making no progress but today i felt like i was so much better than the last time! Anybody ever taken a break (unwanted or wanted) and came out on top? Or just negative effects?

Great to hear you're doing so well. I have that too occationally, although Not after a Long Break from guitar. It usually happens when I Just Jam for a couple of Minutes and then try something I'm working on, but naturally, Not trying to force it If that makes sense.

But don't get discouraged If another day it's the total opposite. There are good and Bad days and a Lot depends on how you approach things :)

When I come back from breaks in playing I use it as an opportunity to look at things from a fresh perspective, and examine my playing with a critical eye. It's a good opportunity to look for more efficiency and quality, because I certainly won't be playing near top speed.
