Guitar Fault - HELP!!!

Hi guys

Ive had my schecter syn custom S since November 2017. I have noticed that when I change to the bridge pickup, sound doesnt always come out. I could have full volume on the middle position and then when I switch to the bridge there is nothing. This is on and off, I could do it and be fine for say 5 switches then the next 5 have no volume. Can any one help?

Sounds like a problem with the wiring. I have the same problem but I always keep toggling back and forth until it comes back(usually like 3 tries). However, I think I should bring it to a luthier so he can check it but I've never done that because I'm not that bothered by it tbh.

Ids is right. I Had the Same Problem. I Heard it was rather easy to fix

Before paying someone, get some electrical contact cleaner spray from the hardware store. Open the back electronics cavity, locate the pickup selector switch, and spray the shit out of it, while flipping the pickup switch on the front back and forth with your other hand. Let it dry for a minute, then plug it in and check it again.

What Ed said, 9 times out of 10 issues with switches and pots usually come down to a bit of dirt getting into them.
