Whaddup fam?!
I just wanted to know your guitar heroes. People that inspire you to pursue the instrument. Mine are Johnny Marr ( beautiful guitar tone), Toni Iommi & Jimi Hendrix ( I mean as a fellow leftie I gotta pay my respects plus one redefined guitar and the other started heavy metal). Finaly of course the reason why we are all here. Im not a big fan of shredding...but melodic shredding for sure and Syn made me realize that I wanna do that too!

Syn - for obvious reasons hehe
Dimebag - the best metal guitarist of all time, untouchable
Euronymous - for creating Norwegian black metal and doing things in an unorthodox way
Matt Heafy - for being a rhythm guitarist that writes like a lead guitarist while also being the singer
Dave Mustaine - if it wasn't for Dime, he'd be the best

There are also other guys like John Petrucci, Robb Flynn, Randy Rhoads, James Hetfield, Jeff Hanneman, Ihsahn, Mikael Ăkerfeldt, Mille Petrozza, Tony Iommni, Alexi Laiho and many others who have inspired me.

There are so many wicked players out there, man.

Syn! Yesterday I watched a Video with him talking about and playing with His Axe FX and after that I wanted to do nothing more than Play guitar for the Rest of the day.
    Kirk Hammet and James Hetfield,
    Matt Heafy.
Dimebag and Michael Padget from Bullet for my Valentine come in as honorable mentions.

Syn - I think he has an incredible mix of tasty shredding, killer melodies and a really great feel
John Mayer - he is kind of a chameleon and pretty much everything he does always serves the music
Django Reinhardt - he pretty much invented gypsy jazz and he can probably do more with 2 fingers than most people are able to do with 4(I'm not counting the thumb here)
George Harrison - All his solos serve the song and there's never a thing out of place. Also wrote one of the most beautiful solos of all time
Eric Clapton - lyrical playing is my favourite way of playing
B.B. King - I'm not sure I have to say anything here
Marty Friedman - i'm a sucker for scales/modes that are not in your regular green modes/pentatonics
Jason Becker - cacophony and Perpetual Burn has arguably the greatest neoclassical guitarwork I've ever heard.
David Gilmour - those bends and vibrato 🤯
    Slash - tasty
Dimebag - vibrato, tasty and just commanding the instrument
Ritchie Blackmore - probably the first neoclassical guy, also genious with his riff
Jimmy Page - a bit sloppy but an absolute genius
Jeff Beck - really great melodies
PG - his songs makes me laugh and his solos are really great too!
Paul Gilbert - string skipping Arpeggios can be pretty fun and he's a great teacher as well.
SRV - funk, tone, tasty he has it all
Gary Moore - he may have defined how shred blues is supposed to be done and I don't think anything really has done it better
Jimi Hendrix - you can't really spell guitar without jimi Hendrix

I'm 100% forgetting people but for now I'll stick to this.
