It is 12 am midnight here. And I am thinking how one day a random song, playing randomly on YouTube, made this guy from India a die hard follower of your music. I can safely say, since then, the more I discovered your music, your solos, The more I was amazed at what can done on guitar outside my limits of imagination. Over the years, no guitarist, not a single one has made me create sit for hours and hours: trying to cover ALL the solos,trying to perfect every single note and bend except you. I was lost about what should I do with my art, where is the direction to my playing, where can I explore. Then You played Afterlife, Buried Alive etc. You have inspired many others in many ways you perhaps don’t know. I am one of those millions for whom no note, no bend is wrong in a solo; for whom a solo, a melody can be composed from any note.

Honestly you have been one of my biggest inspirations and a player and just as a person in general, you have created so many amazing memories for me and the music has been there through thick and thin. I have listened to many different guitar players but when I heard you for the first time on Welcome to the Family it didn’t feel like a guitar player, it felt different, the amount of variation in the bands music, not only across the span of albums but in the albums themselves is unreal.
