Hey guys I've been playing guitar for at least 4-5 years. I'm don't know much about amps or effects pedals or pickups, I usually just buy what sounds good to me lol. Any tips on how to keep sustain on your guitar. Thanks! And keep on shredding
The simplest way off the bat is to increase your gain. Pick choices I’ve found can make a difference too, I personally get more sustain when I play with thicker picks as opposed to a medium or light pick.
As for pedals, a compressor or distortion pedal can really increase the sustain too.
