    Hello there synners.

Having got my second display, I am even more prepared for a new live stream. I was thinking about covering MIDI and actually writing a song using only your DAW (Reaper in my case).

The topics would be the following:
    - a view/review of the musical alphabet and scientific pitch notation (I know some of you may have seen this already, but for anyone who sees it in the future, it will be useful)
    - understanding what a DAW is
    - understanding MIDI
    - VSTs explained and downloading/using some VSTs
    - hooking up your keyboard as a MIDI controller
    - actually writing a song and editing it in what is called Piano roll

I was thinking of having it on Saturday at 20:30 EET this time, since some of you may be celebrating Easter this Sunday. I could do it on Sunday as well if you guys and girls are up for it .

Andrei, if I could make a suggestion - two shorter streams would do better than one long one. Even if you break it up over two weeks. Attentions run short.

Although, maybe with Covid, everyone wants long. Maybe you just need to say "shut up old man" at me. Not a boomer, so don't try that shit. Gen X. We chill.

Technically I still have a month and 5 days left until I become what the Internet considers a boomer . So yeah, we chill.

But going back to the suggestion, duly noted. However, I am firmly confident this stream is going to be shorter because there is way less info to go over. The previous one was basically a 6.5-hour course in one live stream, that's why it became so long. But should I think this stream or future ones last for too long then yeah, I have no problem splitting them.

    Hey guys and girls.

I'd like to thank you again for joining . The video is on YouTube for anyone who has missed it. This also gave me the idea of starting a full-fledged video course based on this stream .
I watched it...i know its a pain in the ass to do but if you could do that with theory i think it would help some of us more than reading it...thank you for all that you do for us
